Visionary Software was hired to redesign a site for Corporate R&D which met those standards, but which also was visually and information rich, to appeal to the top level scientists they want to attract for their division. The sites in General Electric's domain are all governed by a stringent set of standards. I was hired to create the home page and subpage "look" and so my challenge was to come up with something attractive and stay within the standards.

This screen shot is of the home page I designed (without navigation, which was developed later in java).

The site has since been redesigned again by internal employees.
