Based on a tiny photograph in an old issue of National Geographic, that bugged me until I worked with it. My drawing is 18x24", and done in charcoal, my favorite traditional medium, and hangs in my living room. I continued working on the digitized image, adding the color and enhancing the image with lights, and altering a crooked nose (my fault, not his)
