Eileen Parzek, better known around the Internet as Turtle, is a Web Designer and Information Architect, with an extensive background in graphic design, hypertext information systems, project management, virtual business, technical writing, multimedia, usability issues, interface design and web business strategy.

Ms. Parzek started Turtle's Web in 1995, and has been involved in the development of approximately 250 web sites and projects. As an early adopter of the web, Turtle's Web has specialized in graphic and information design, as well as web marketing and project management. By teaming up with other talented web development teams and bringing in contractors on an as-needed basis, Turtle's Web has been able to offer a full range of services to its happy clients over the years.

During 2000, she was recruited to be the Creative Director of Predixis in Los Angeles, CA. The parent company, ParaSoft, had been incubating an incredible "one-to-one preference matching technology," for the food and music verticals. The primary project Eileen was involved with was for the web technology called FoodMagic. She was responsible for the logo/branding development, project management, proposal development, information architecture, graphic and interface design, usability design and testing, presentation development, and documentation aspects of FoodMagic. It was a crazy but incredible project with one of the best teams ever assembled. With this project, she was "bi-coastal" - telecommuting from the home office in Albany, NY and working on-site at ParaSoft headquarters in Los Angeles about 25% of the time, while conspiring with content people in LA and developers in Poland.

Eileen has a strong interest in communications as it pertains to the Internet and the future - and particularly welcomes projects which involve electronic communications in an organizational or intercultural capacity, education or distance learning, or anything which informs and promotes future sciences, technology and business.

Ms. Parzek has a degree in traditional graphic design from Sage Colleges. She lives and works in downtown Albany, NY where she is active in her neighborhood, and the local arts & music scene. She is also on the Marketing Committee for the Tech Valley Chapter of Women in Technology International (WITI), and was one of the founding members of the Women's Success Network, an Albany based business networking group.
